SECRETARY’S REPORT

Communication

Teams are not co-operating and not communicating. Any changes to their contact details should be conveyed straight away.

Changing Team Names

Teams need to contact the league as well as the LFA in order to change their names. For this season, it’s too late.

Invoicing

Invoices and receipts are available from the General Secretary upon request.

TREASURER’S REPORT

We have been unable to fill the position of Treasurer’s Secretary. Thus, the league’s accounts will be communicated in the next managers’ meeting.

FIXTURES

The fixtures will be ready by the next managers’ meeting. We are still short of local pitches but should hear some good news soon. The chairman is currently in negotiation with council officials. Again, no changes in the fixtures will be allowed once they are complete. Am – pm and pm – am changes can be made so long as the four teams concerned agree with it.

REFEREES

The Referees’ Secretary will arrange the referees for the season. This year, we’ll have some locally qualified referees participating. Again, the match cards will have to be filled up before the game. Any incidents will need to be reported, verbally and in writing, to the Referees’ Secretary. Again, if the referee fails to attend, the home team has to take responsibility.

PLAYER REGISTRATION

The forms will need to be completed fully. One passport size photo needs to be sent for new players. Last years photos will be used for existing players. The photos need to be labelled with the player’s full name and club. The deadline for players to be eligible for the first game is 29th August. The overall deadline is 6th January, 2005.

A.O.B

Outstanding Fines

The following teams need to settle their outstanding fines:

            Abohani

Drapers City Foyer

Berner

Newark

Newham

Mohammadan

Shadwell

Elite Youth.

These fines need to be settled before the league commences. Teams will not be allowed to participate otherwise and each game missed will incur a forfeit and fine.

Collection of Yellow/Red Card Fines

The LFA will enforce these.

Prize Money

This year there will also be prize money for all winners and runners up of the league. The amount is not yet been decided upon.

Positions Within the ILFL

The following three positions are available within the committee:

            Vice Chairman

            Treasurer

            Publicity Secretary

LFA Numbers

The LFA numbers need to be sent to the General Secretary as soon as possible.

Account Signatories

As two of the existing account signatories have departed the management committee, the General Secretary and Fines/Results Secretary will now replace them.

League Start Date
